Participation News– 8-12 survey response

The 8-12 Activity group survey closed on 30th Nov 2016 with a fantastic response of 19!! 11 was the target so we were happy with the response & offer thanks to professionals, families and carers for the support in getting the responses back! The aim was to see if an activity group was needed for this age range so we could capture their thoughts and feelings and get these represented at Young People’s Panel. We wanted the voice of the child and young person and we got it! The respondents told us that if we want their opinion, organize something fun to do, in school holidays and make sure there is food & drink, internet access and a space to relax with our friends! So far we have had a Festive Feast at Youthscape during the school holidays in December, an activity group at TOKKO in February half

-term with a trip to the Galaxy after. Next stop is an Easter event…...details to follow on!
